Hi everyone)

We are coming to Beograd for weekend. It'll be our first time in Serbia, so I need some good advice about the best way to spend these 3 days. Of coz we want to see as much as it possible - sights, areas nearby, nightlife..

And, btw, is that safe for 2 girls to go somewhere late at night in the City?..

It is absolutely safe for everyone to walk thru Belgrade. Do not be a afraid .

????.. Hmmmmmmm  what should you visit?  DUFF  definitely?.. you have to try Duff  Hamburgers ?????. Mmmmmmmm I am hungry

:eat:

Добро пожаловать к нам!

U should ask Nikola to take U to that Duff pljeskavica  :hihi:

Ummm, I would recomend Tesla museum, and decaying Tito mausoleum, and if U find someone to take U, try finding Ur way into underground of Belgrade  :-)

There is also very interesting communist tavern, but I believe U have more of those...

U sure will find Ur way to the main attractions like Kalemegdan to Saint Sava church strip including Terazije and Knez Mihajlova street, Tower of Janos Hunyady in Zemun, if weather stays like this, maybe even Ada Ciganlija...

Considering safety, I think U shouldn't get alarmed, but also don't run into dark corners  :hihi: Joking! It's safe...

Since I'm not aboriginal Belgradian, I'm gonna let them tell U more

Ummm, I would recomend Tesla museum

Tesla museum is under constructions. I'm not 100% sure but I think that visit is not possible.

tesla's museum is under construction and it's working... don't miss it, it's easily the best nonstandard sight in belgrade... the staff speak english, are very happy to guide you around, and are nice altogether..

Thank u for replies, we ll definetly try to see all of these :-)

Maybe you ll help me with one more thing.. I have no gess how much money do i need for week-end (for museus, transport, for bars♣ etc...)?

Uh, it is always hard to give the proper answer on this question. But, entrance fees for Serbian museums are not high. I think (maybe it is not the truth, I`m not 100% sure) that the ticket for almost all museums is 50 Serbian dinars, what is arround  60-65 Euro cents. Please, guys, correct me if I`m wrong, please. Also, when you are in Belgrade, local transport is 27 din. per ride (what is 35 Euro cents). And, one kind of ticket is worth for all kind of transports (busses, trams, trolleys). Bars and clubs? Uh, it really depends where are you going for entertainment and what kind of drink you are drinking. Generally, average price of beer is 100-200 din., sometimes is near 300 (at some fancy places). So, everything depends on you. Yes, for your information, Euro is 80 Serbian dinars. And, maybe I can spend some hours, in Belgrade, with you (of course, if you want). Tomorow I`ll know my weekend schedule, so then I`ll inform you, ok?

Greetings - Vladimir!

For some people travel is a way of life and it does not necessarily include 5 star hotels and vacations on the far away beaches. There are so many other ways to experience different cultures and enrich ones life. The best one is to try and observe people, interact, stay in hostels or find contacts and stay at people's homes if possible, go to the national cuisine restaurants annd visit markets, stadiums, theaters etc, try and really feel the pulse of the country you are visiting. Some places can really surprise you, you can find the most friendly people in the countries you heard nothing but bad things about. So brake that chain of prejudice, and go see the places from the bottom of your list, you will be amazed by all you've been missing. There is a book that talks allot about these kind of things, it is a travel journal of an Iranian American entrepreneur traveling in Balkans, called The Age of Nepotism. I warmly recommend it ;D
