Dear Serbians,

Could you please advise us a cheap accommodation in Uzice.

We are a group of 7 tourists. We will arrive in Uzice April 29 in train from Belgrad approximately at 23:30. We need to stay only one night in Uzice and we would like to stay in hostel or in a flat. 

All we have found is

1) Hotel Zlatiborska Noc

2) Zlatybor Hotel

and

3) Apartments Senator 

Ivana Milutinovica br 51, Uzice 85360,Serbia

First and Second are hotels and they are expensive.

Third is flat with 7 rooms, but I did not manage to contacts of this apartment.

May be there are other apartments in Uzice?

And another question, is it possible to place a tents some there near Reka Detinja? It is located directly in town! How do you think, it will be dangerous for us?  :)

Maybe you should consider the option to go to Zlatibor, which is around 25km far from Uzice. It is very popular tourist center in Serbia with a lot of opportunities for the accommodation. There are many interesting places around to visit, and maybe you could start you cycling tour from there.

The only problem can be the transfer from Uzice to Zlatibor in the middle of the night. I'm not sure if there is any bus leaving Uzice so late at night. Maybe we can arrange some taxi transfer with some klubputnika from Uzice. Let's hope that somebody will reply

Hello Alexey, My name is Atila and I live in Uzice, actully 5 km from Uzice to Zlatibor. My home is on the road that you need to pass throu if you go to visit Zlatibor.

I see that you want cheap plase to sleep. I offer you my backyard to place youre thents for that night. Backyard is big and on the nice place. I am bicycle tourist too so I now what is mean to you that somebody ofer you place to sleep. Unfortunately, my house is not big enaught to place 7 people but my family is glad to meet and host some entuzijasts that visit our country.

my name is Bartek and I will be with girlfriend in Uzice July 25th and 26th. We are also looking for place to sleep. Unfortunately we do not have a tent.

Maybe you know where to find such a place (not an expensive one, as we have limited amount of money) in Uzice or somewhere around?

We plan to go by bus from Beograd, then find a place to sleep in Uzice or neighbourhood and spend 2 days for trips to Sagranska Osmica and then Sirogojno village.

We were also thinking about sleeping in Zlatibor or Partizanske Vode, but for me looks like it would make our way to Sagranska Osmica/Sirogojno much longer. Would you recommend us any place in Uzice? (or if there is good and easy connection from Zlatibor/Partizanske Vode - no longer then 45 minutes one way - maybe you recommend to sleep there?)

Hello, Bartek, welcome to our forum!

I would suggest you to stay in Zlatibor, because it is a touristic place and it is easier to find the accommodation. And also, it is much easier to find some tour to visit Sirogojno or Sarganska osmica and Mokra Gora from there. There are many agencies which organize these daily tours.

Why not trying Pozega instead, place some 20km away from Uzice, in direction of Cacak/Belgrade.

Here is one cheap and good place, restaurant with accomodation near the road, but be sure to check in in advance, because their capacities are limited
